Battle of Los Angeles 5 preview (Day 1)
BOLA5 is less than a week away and the Day 1 GZ card has a lot of new faces debuting in the league. Here’s a quick preview so you’ll know what to expect from the battles.

OOOPS VS FREDO
Ooops - St. Louis street rapper with experience in Spit Dat Heat, RBE and Go-Rilla Warfare.
Fredo - Fresh Coast veteran hailing from before the GrindTime era. Résumé includes battles with QP (SONS), Swave Sevah, Rone, RemyD, Youthoracle and Sun Tzu.
AYEM VS AUTOMATIC RAY
Ayem - Underrated veteran from San Jose who put on one of Ground Zero’s 5 best battles last year.
Automatic Ray - One of the best from Spit Dat Heat. Impressive punchliner.
CARTER DEEMS VS JOE CUTTER
Carter Deems - Could be a satirical genius or a cat-hoarding weirdo. A breath of fresh air in the battle scene either way.
Joe Cutter - Gonzo rapper from San Jose. Makes legitimately good music.
LEXX LUTHOR VS AKTIVE
Aktive - Krack City founding member. Expert pocket checker.
Lexx Luthor - Steamroller presence. Champion of the small room.
YOUNG B THE FUTURE VS T2GOOD
Young B - Crowd pleaser from Moreno Valley. Mad presence.
T2Good - 10+ GrindTime battles under his belt. Part of 4th Quarter with KG the Poet, Rum Nitty and Konshis Pilot.
YAK DA RIPPA VS DRE VISHISS
Yak Da Rippa - Los Angeles street rapper with wordplay and schemes.
Dre Vishiss - Krack City and Grape Street member from Watts. Known for street bars, schemes and delivery.
G4 VS LYNX MONTANA
G4 - Krack City member with aggressive delivery.
Lynx Montana - Street spitter from Pontiac, Michigan.
WRONZY VS MYCALL MILLION
Wronzy - Twenty-year-old out of Albuquerque’s UBR league. Heavy with the clowning style with bars to back it.
Mycall Million - Cali dude coming out of LABattleGroundz. The one Daylyt boxed against for three rounds.
